These implements were mainly used for grape cultivation and wine making from the Meiji era to the early Showa era. Grape cultivation implements were collected from farms in each area where cultivation had been commonplace since the Edo period, including pruning shears. Wine producing implements include crushers and compressors.
They are a folk cultural property that tell of the history of Yamanashi grapes and wine production, and when you view each implement you will notice how they were made with reference to the physical condition of each user.
